Manufacturing plant and equipment
|
Because of an ever-growing order book, Sturo Metal acquired a great deal of manufacturing equipment and specialized tools. This allows it to deliver its product according to stated deadlines.
Its manufacturing plant, capable of producing 125 tons per week, is equipped with several lifting devices reaching a 20 ton capacity. With this equipment, heavy components can easily be handled from the very beginning of production right through to loading for shipment.
Constantly working to improve its products, the company has modern, high output equipment including a 300-ton press, a programmable band saw and all the equipment needed to respond to the needs of its clientele. The welding equipment, including a submerged arc-welding machine, occupies a significant portion of the production area at Sturo Metal.
